The way of use "External file" button on script editor
There is "External file" button on script editor most right
side in toolbar. It does compile and run script was edited by external
editor. What you write script by other favorite editor will become
easily by that. Main operating orders are following.
-
You execute HSP Script Editor and open script which you want to run (for example
"test.as" and so on). If you open once, the owner directory
becomes current directory. Then stop editing script by "New" from menu.
-
Open same file on other editor (Hidemaru and so on). As for the rest, all
right you edit it freely.
-
If you want to run edited script, move mouse cursor and push "External
file" button on Script Editor. And dialog which is in order to input its name is
shown and input name of file edited by external editor. For example you abbreviate
"test.as" to "test" and input.
-
Push "OK" button and external file is done compiling and running. If you input
name of external file once. Need not to input twice from next. Because remember
before name.
You can edit script external editor by as above order. It
is good to think Script Editor is like a launcher which is for compiling
and running. You can set out as compact, if you make size of window smaller.
