SOUP processor

This is predecessor of HSP and runs on PC-98x1 which is one of the architectures.
I heard SOUP means "Sequencial OUtput-control Program",
and it was used for developping of "PC's TV", but the predecessor itself wasn't publicized.
Although, light SOUP processor is publicized which is lite version of SOUP processor.

light SOUP processor

LSP(light SOUP processor) is the interpreter programming language for integration management of viewing images and playing musics.
You can develop demonstration described by the graphic engine of PC9801, multi-selectable launcher menu, and test program for layout with LSP.
The feature is the followings:
Required Spec: LSP works on PC-98 series, and needs V30 CPU or higher and display which has up to 16 colors.
Whether mouse is used or not, the driver is not required.
Its operating speed is always the same and is independent on CPU clock and/or on machine.

Hot Soup Processor

HSP is very simple and useful script language.
Only writing text script, anyone can display images and/or construct menu system easily.
As you use various commands, you can create CG collections, music collections, demonstrations, and even game applications.

The feature is the followings: You can make good use of HSP in various scene. (It depends on YOU! :-)) For example: In addition, Hot Soup Processor was named after Hot JAVA.

Required Spec: Microsoft Windows 3.1 or later
Microsoft Windows NT3.5 or later
Microsoft Windows 95 or later

HSP1.x is 16bit application, so it works on almost all Windows,
and is verified on both PC98 and DOS/V architecture.
It requires an display which has 640x480 resolution and has up to 256 colors.
Required memory size is variable. Because of displayed image, for example.
HSP2.EXE needs nothing for running, so users don't have to install runtime or any plug-ins.

Required Spec: Microsoft Windows NT3.51 or later
Microsoft Windows 95 or later

HSP2.x is 32bit application, works on Windows95 or WindowsNT,
and is verified on both PC98 and DOS/V architecture.
It requires an display which has 640x480 resolution and has up to 256 colors.
Required memory size is variable. Because of displayed image, for example.
HSP2.EXE needs nothing for running, so users don't have to install runtime or any plug-ins.
